Position Summary:

The Financial Analyst, FP&A role will contribute to the Company’s success by supporting the financial management of key vendors and traditional financial analysis responsibilities, including but not limited to, the following: Tracking and monitoring vendor contracts, purchase orders, and invoices; collaborating with corporate leaders and project sponsors to manage annual budgets and quarterly forecasts for ongoing initiatives; and constructing and distributing recurring financial performance reports.

Essential Functions:

  • Prepare monthly invoice reconciliations and accrual schedules that accurately reflect financial obligations with vendors and assist with vendor forecasts.
  • Analyze and resolve invoice discrepancies with internal and external teams on a regular basis.
  • Collaborate with department leads to evaluate vendor performance to ensure alignment with financial and business objectives.
  • Review financial data to identify trends, discrepancies and opportunities for process improvements and vendor cost savings.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key vendors.
  • Collaborate with department leads and project managers to establish cost benefit analyses, monitor financial performance, establish accruals, and manage forecasts for new and ongoing project initiatives.
  • Own and enhance financial reports for project initiatives on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
  • Support the development of strategies to improve financial and operational performance of company initiatives and projects.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with project sponsors and corporate leaders.
  • Support ad hoc projects.

Education/Experience/Skills:

  • Minimum of 2 years of public accounting or corporate finance experience.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and accrual accounting concepts.
  • Ability to create and maintain efficient, well-organized processes.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in all aspects of work.
  • Advanced financial modeling skills to develop forecasts, budgets, and reporting using large data sets.
  • Experience with Adaptive, HFM, Workday, PowerBI, Tableau, and/or SAP are preferable.
  • Proficiency in MS Office literacy, especially in Excel, Visio, and Power Point.
  • Collaborative attitude with the ability to partner with internal and external constituents.
  • Strong presentation and interpersonal skills, high energy level, and positive orientation.
  • Constructive approach to conflict resolution; exercise mediation skills.
  • May be required to have and maintain a valid driver’s license.
