Account Manager - Connector

Position Summary:
The Account Manager role is a client-facing position with a strong emphasis on customer satisfaction and stewardship. This position will build lasting relationships with retail agents and RT Binding through the delivery of exceptional customer service.
Essential Functions:
Relationships:
- Be the primary contact person for existing clients
- Maintain and enhance the relationship between The Connector and current retail agents
- Proactively assess, clarify and validate retail agents’ needs on an ongoing basis, as well as RT Specialty’s
- Handle client complaints and act as the primary escalation point for any issues that arise from existing retail clients and RT
- Works cross functionally with product, support and technology teams, providing first-hand, experience-based market intelligence on customer requirements, product performance, and other key factors, and providing voice of customer feedback
Communications & Education:
- Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of the platform and product offerings
- Create and execute education and training programs to improve awareness of The Connector for both RT offices and retail agents
- Ensure retail agents have complete and up to date information, including new products, platform enhancements, training materials and periodic strategy updates
- Communicate any client concerns or issues to leadership and recommend and assist in executing solutions
- Perform demos of the Connector as needed
- Provide periodic reports and forecasts as needed
- Assist with onboarding of Connector clients
Education/Experience/Skills:
- Account Manager experience
- A minimum of five (5) years of insurance industry experience.
- Experience with SalesForce CRM
- Willing to travel as needed
- Understanding customer needs
- Presentation skills
- Understanding of technology as it applies to the insurance industry
- Highly self-motivated and able to manage day to day tasks
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects effectively
- Able to work in a dynamic, fast-moving company environment
