Associate, Accounting/Financial Reporting - RTS

Position Summary:

The Associate, Accounting/Financial Reporting will assist in supporting the GAAP accounting requirements though financial reporting and analysis.

Essential Functions:

• Support business unit accounting/finance department in management and execution of month end close activities, including sub-ledger reconciliations, preparation of manual journal entries, and control testing around various accounting processes.
• Assist in preparation of financial reports including competitive analysis, compensation analysis, and/or internal benchmarking and performance
• Assist in ensuring business unit complies with Corporate Accounting policies and required internal controls relating to revenue recognition, premium accounting, and surplus lines
• Assist in preparation and tracking of annual budget and financial forecasts
• Assistance with due diligence and integration tracking on potential and successful acquisitions

Education/Experience/Skills:

• CPA, or demonstrated plan towards receiving CPA designation
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
• Knowledge of GAAP accounting principles
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
• Ability to multi-task between multiple tasks/projects at any given time
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office Applications
