Position Summary:

The business process manager will work with each business unit to help drive operational excellence and best practice by analyzing business processes, identifying challenges and gaps in operations, and making recommendations for automation and optimization.  They are responsible for championing a continuous improvement culture while engaging each team to creatively innovate their processes using additional tooling, staff, or new techniques.  This role involves heavy project management. 

Essential Functions:
  • Consult with each business unit to understand challenges, identify improvements, and develop strategies to enhance them in a continuous process improvement methodology.  Create value and capacity leveraging outsourcing, process optimization and automation.
  • Analyze metrics to identify trends where cost savings/avoidance or improvements can be made.
  • Drive strategic projects across RT using project management best practices.  Interface with business leaders as well as IT team to ensure projects and system are delivered to end user satisfaction.
  • Rationalize newly acquired company’s current technology and processes.  Own and manage the consolidation effort for technology and processes into the current RT strategy.
  • Develop and monitor key performance indicator’s associated with new products, business unit enhancements, and acquisitions.  
  • Collaborate with business unit leaders and internal audit to develop and maintain standard operating procedures.
  • Engage with outside vendors as needed to integrate new functionality, evaluate current offerings, and create relationships. 
  • Partner with various RT producers to strategize new products and champion improvements within their lines of business.
  • Present and facilitate discussions with senior leadership at RT and RSG.
  • Bachelor’s Degree (BS) and 7 – 10 years of relevant experience required, preferably with consultative experience in a complex business environment.
  • Excellent project management, analytical and organization skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, decision making abilities and leadership capabilities with the ability to summarize data into reports and summaries.
  • PMP certification and/or insurance experience is a plus.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

  • Ability and willingness to travel as necessary
