Position Summary:

The Project Manager will be responsible for managing a wide range of projects.  Individual will be expected to identify issues and resolve problems following established guidelines.  A high level of communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to interact effectively within all levels of the organization, is required. This individual will have an acute attention to detail, and the dedication to see projects through from start to finish.   

Essential Functions:

  • Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management 
  • Build, manage and track project plans through execution 
  • Compile documentation to monitor, track, and prioritize projects 
  • Monitor and update resource allocation needs to ensure coverage on project tasks
  • Monitor the progress of the project and make adjustments as necessary to ensure the successful completion
  • Identify program risk and mitigation plans to minimize impact on deliverables
  • Lead meetings related to project status, risks, issues, action items, or change controls
  • Effectively communicate relevant project information to stakeholders and the project team
  • Provide direction and support to project team
  • Manage projects with multiple, interconnected streams
  • Coordinate activities across different organizational functions 
  • Determine the objectives and measures upon which the project will be evaluated at its completion


  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field 
  • 6+ years of project management experience, utilizing project management methodologies 
  • PMP certification preferred
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple task assignments 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills 
  • Ability to drive issue resolution 
  • Work cooperatively and effectively with others to set goals, resolve issues, and make informed decisions 
  • Strong ability to function in a fluid environment with shifting priorities and demands 
  • Ability to handle challenging situations 
  • Ability to direct others in a non-reporting relationship
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office suite of tools, including Excel, Project, and PowerPoint
  • Familiarity with various project management methodologies including Agile and Waterfall
