Ryan Specialty Group is looking for a Talent Acquisition Manager to join our Chicago, IL office. We are a fast paced, energetic and rapidly growing organization that offers a great opportunity for someone interested in further developing their career.

Position Summary:

The Talent Acquisition Manager is responsible for talent acquisition including sourcing and full-cycle recruiting, Career Fairs and talent analytics.  You will use innovative recruiting techniques to source for passive talent as well as evaluate incoming applicants. Talent Acquisition responsibilities include managing Corporate Recruiters, monitoring recruitment procedures, and helping us build a strong employer brand. 

Essential Functions:
  • Recruit and fill critical positions with high performers.
  • Partner closely with the business leaders to effectively manage expectations and deliver an elevated candidate experience.
  • Oversee all stages of candidate experience (including application, interviews and communication).
  • Work with Corporate Recruiters and key stakeholders to determine recruiting strategy for hard to fill positions.
  • Deliver top-notch sourcing methods and efforts (e.g. social recruiting; Boolean searches; mobile outreach) to build talent pipelines.
  • Oversee the logistics and effectiveness of the college recruiting program including individual attendance at Career Fairs throughout the US.
  • Manage regular communication to RSG talent community including college students.
  • Regular analysis of key recruiting metrics.
  • Planning and regular evaluation of job posting inventory and campaign advertising spend on job boards. 
  • Ongoing evaluation of recruiting career site.
  • Manage employer branding activities including social media presence and Company timely response to reviews (i.e. Glass Door, Indeed).
  • Manage our external partnerships with colleges, job boards and recruiting agency partners.
  • Support and ensure continuity and consistency of recruitment strategy, company culture, and recruiting best-practices to meet changing business needs and enhance candidate experience.
  • 15% travel required.
Education/Experience/Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 7+ years of proven multi-state full-cycle recruitment experience, with 2+ years of proven work experience in a Talent Acquisition Manager role overseeing recruitment and branding efforts of a team. Staffing industry experience is also valued.
  • Strong decision making and organization skills and a high level of detail orientation with proven project management capabilities including experience handling multiple key projects at a time.
  • Ability to think strategically in a complex, fast paced environment.
  • Demonstrated experience managing employer branding initiatives.
  • Familiarity and working knowledge of applicant tracking system; SAP Cloud preferred.
  • Proven results identifying passive candidates in a timely manner via creative recruiting strategies.
  • Skill and comfort managing the entire offer process; including salary recommendations, offer letter generation, and offer acceptances/declines.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships at all levels of the organization and externally with candidates and vendors.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate with all levels within the organization.
  • Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability; thrives in a changing and/or fast paced environment.
  • Desire to work in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and Power Point to create analytics and presentations.
