Position Summary:

The Field Marketing Representative is responsible for all marketing related efforts.

Essential Functions:
  • Build lasting relationships with key members of our customer base
  • Development and execution of marketing strategies for existing customer base
  • Development and execution of marketing strategies for prospective customer base
  • Development of comprehensive marketing plan to facilitate current internal and external business growth initiatives
  • Coordinate and serve as representative for all customer visits and maintain detailed records, including timely submission of marketing visit reports, of discussions and customer needs
  • Actively market lines of business through regular phone calls and agency visits
  • Develop strategies to increase financing penetration rate with existing customers
  • Identify opportunities to penetrate financing business offerings with prospective customers
  • Communicate key functions related to our website to customers
  • Handle all customer communication and inquiries regarding premium financing offerings
  • Verbal and written correspondence with current and prospective customers regarding rates, funding strategies and fee structure relationships
  • Coordinate and serve as representative at customer outings (i.e.: golf, hockey games, football games, concerts, etc.)
  • Act as a credible representative at all insurance / premium finance related functions
  • Keep abreast of changes in premium finance marketplace and communicate trends to management
  • Associates degree in Business Administration or Marketing, Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Prior work experience within wholesale insurance premium finance industry, or with our retail independent insurance producers
  • Experience using marketing as a tool to build strong customer relationships within insurance industry
  • Ability to establish collaborative working relationships and actively develop them to more effectively accomplish work objectives
  • Work cooperatively with others to set goals, resolve problems and make decisions to enhance organizational effectiveness
  • Ability to multi-task; set priorities, develop a work schedule, monitor progress towards goals and evaluate processes/results
  • Ability to perform job duties and manage workload with little or no supervision
  • Must be punctual, and demonstrate initiative and strong work ethic
  • Ability to multi-task while consistently maintaining strong attention to detail
  • Ability to speak effectively with customers or employees of organization
  • Ability to use marketing as a communication tool (written and verbal) to promote products and build client relationships
  • Ability to prepare effective written communication documents for customers and employees of organization
  • Ability to define customer service problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions to provide strong customer support for internal and external customers
  • Work cooperatively with others to set goals, resolve problems and make decisions to enhance organizational effectiveness
  • Computer literate; familiarity with basic Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook)
