Field Marketing Representative - RTS

Position Summary:

The ideal candidate will have prior experience in the insurance industry with existing independent broker relationships.

Essential Functions:

• Business development with independent insurance agents across our entire territory.
• Developing and implementing marketing strategies for both existing and prospective customer base.
• Developing new and fostering existing relationships with independent retail insurance producers to develop quote activity which will lead to achieving monthly premium goals.
• Developing comprehensive marketing plan to facilitate current business growth initiatives, as well as comprehensive analysis of competitors.
• Analyzing market trends to evaluate, develop and implement strategic plans to meet and exceed organizational goals.
   

Education/Experience/Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Psychology or Business is preferred, but not required.
• Must possess strong computer/technology/systems skills.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication and negotiation skills are required.
• Strong ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to manage workload with minimal supervision.
• Critical attention to details.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office including, but not limited to Outlook, Word, Excel.
• Proven track record of being a team player.
• May be required to have and maintain a valid driver’s license.
• Must be open to significant business travel as determined by the needs of the business.
