Position Summary:

The Senior Risk Management Consultant will serve as the primary LC consultant on all ISA direct accounts and other large accounts.

Essential Functions:

  • Serve as the primary LC consultant on all ISA direct accounts and other large accounts.
    • Conducts surveys for the following lines of coverage: Property, Auto, GL/PL, and Workers’ Comp.
    • Conducts resource and service reviews with insured organizations and/or brokers.
    • Ensures the facilitation of large account reviews & quarterly claims reviews.
    • Reviews accounts from a risk management perspective to develop a proactive plan for preventing or minimizing losses.
  • Assists in the on-going infrastructure development of the RM division.
  • Responsible for updating and ensuring the accuracy of TECH with regards to risk management/loss control data.
  • Develops and conducts quarterly webinars on human services related risk management topics.
  • Develops and manages all third party loss control vendors.
    • Interviews, approves, and trains all independent consultants.
    • Ensures all ISA policies and procedures pertaining to vendors are closely followed.
    • Conducts on-going evaluations of survey forms to ensure appropriateness to the exposures of ISA’s human services program.
    • Leads bi-annual calls with all loss control vendors to address any concerns with the performance of independent consultants and provide ISA program updates to vendors.
    • Oversees the quality control of vendor survey reports.
  • Works in a cooperative manner with other departments.
  • Responsible for training new employees & participates in the professional development of the RM Division.
  • Assists with special projects, reports and assignments that may be required by the RM Division.
  • Other relevant duties as assigned.

Education/Experience/Skills:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required.
  • Prior supervisory experience required.
  • 10 years of experience in the safety or health and human services field, or similar industry experience.
  • CSP, ARM, CPHRM, and CRM designations preferred.
  • General & Organizational Skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and work under pressure.
  • Customer service oriented.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word and Excel.
  • Master proprietary software (TECH).
  • Ability to manage workload with minimal supervision.
  • Critical attention to details.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office including, but not limited to Outlook, Word, Excel.
  • Proven track record of being a team player.
  • 25% travel.
  • May be required to have and maintain a valid driver’s license.
